This trendy beach house is located right at the meeting point of the two fabulous beaches of Terres Basses, Baie Longue and Plum Bay on the southwest coast of French St. Martin.
Nestled in the private and exclusive enclave of Terres Basses in St. Martin, this beautiful beach house faces the Caribbean Sea, "feet in the water".
Ideally located, it will delight sun, shopping, golf or game lovers, you are just a few minutes drive from the stores and restaurants of Marigot and Simpson Bay, the casinos of Cupecoy and Maho and the golf courses of Mullet Bay.
Property
This unique property was built in three independent modules. Thus, the common living spaces are connected to the three bedrooms and the outdoor pool and terrace, via elevated walkways over the sand that cross a garden of coconut trees, sea grapes and large beach rocks.
The first module includes:
- The fully open central kitchen facing the sea with Velvet Underground wall art and a modern mix of natural wood cabinets, sleek black countertops and polished concrete
- A living room furnished with bleached white rattan sofas around a glass table on a hand-woven rug
- A covered outdoor dining room with a gas barbecue
- On the other side, a guest bathroom with an outdoor rain shower
- A beautiful panoramic rooftop terrace, furnished with umbrellas and giant daybeds, overlooking the entire length of Baie Longue Beach
The second unit includes:
- The master bedroom, with its own sea-facing terrace and a private beach with a hammock right in front of it - is equipped with a king-size bed, ceiling fan, A/C, WiFi, TV, dressing room, ocean view, en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet
The third module includes:
- A living room furnished with chic and modern white rattan sofas, a giant ceiling fan and Rolling Stones wall art
- The other two bedrooms, located on either side of the living room and lined with coconut trees, face the sea - One has a queen-size double bed and the other a king-size bed - each has a ceiling fan, A/C, WiFi, TV, and en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet
Exteriors:
- Located at the back of the house, an iridescent mosaic-tiled pool glistens in the sun like the scales of a fish in light red, blue, and silver and is surrounded by an elevated deck with poolside loungers, large umbrellas, and an outdoor shower
- A private beach separated from the shore by a low stone wall
The cool minimalist decor includes contemporary furnishings, details and artwork paying homage to the great rock legends. This beach house offers upbeat contemporary decor in a cool seaside setting that is naturally beautiful.
Note: the water treatment plant is not a nuisance to guests (the house has been rented out since 2021 and no negative feedback has been received).
