Pleasant and safe for young children, this beach is frequented by families. It is also one of the favorite spots for surfers.
Called "the small pools" by the locals. Lorient beach differs from other beaches, with one side where the water is pleasant for swimming, and on the other "the small pools", very popular with families because they are closed by the coral reef. It is an additional safety for the children. Surfing is often practiced there, because the offshore waves offer surfers a succession of "rollers", each more beautiful than the next!
